Location.

Located in the Heart of Soshanguve

The centre is optimally located in Block H, Soshanguve, within the Tshwane district, Gauteng Province, South Africa. It is located in an area of high disease burden especially in HIV/TB and other infectious diseases.

SRC currently recruits from a wide catchment area, which comprises areas in sub-districts 1 and 2 of the Tshwane district: Soshanguve, Mabopane, Winterveld, Garankuwa, Soutspan, Rosslyn, and Hammanskraal. The catchment area is made up of peri-urban and informal settlements and is densely populated with a total population of close to a million people.

SRC functions as an independent site. The Centre is easily accessible by public transport, the common mode of transport to the local residents and the wider population.

  • The Centre is stroller and wheelchair friendly
  • Continually being upgraded for the convenience of clinical trial participants

Comprehensive, Multi‑Clinic Research Facility

The centre has four well-designated clinical areas, which allows for multiple trials to be conducted simultaneously. Our facility also has backup power sources, including generators and uninterruptible power supply systems.

Designed for Concurrent Clinical Trials

This set up allows for several trials to be conducted concurrently. All clinic areas comply with relevant health and safety policies.
